Abbey Pest Control Reading are an independent, family-run pest control business operating in and around Reading, Newbury and Berkshire. With over 7 years' experience in pest control, and a background in property maintenance, we are fully equipped to help you eradicate any pest problems you encounter. We offer a professional but efficient service and pride ourselves on going above and beyond the standard pest control solutions many of the larger, national pest control companies are able to offer.
As we are an independent local business we have lower overheads and more time to tackle the route cause of any infestations you find in your home. All of our treatments are tailored to your specific needs, we don't offer a fixed number of visits per treatment and we do not simply throw poisons at a problem. Instead we survey all of the property on our first visit to identify possible entry points and carry out remedial proofing works as part of the agreed treatment price.
If you have a pest problem and need our assistance, don't hesitate to contact us here at Abbey Pest Control Reading.

We launched Abbey Pest Control in Reading in early 2018 after previously working for a larger pest control company for many years.
Mike eventually decided to venture out on his own as he wanted to offer our customers a better level of customer service than they may get from a larger national firm.
To successfully treat a pest infestation, we believe you need to invest time into surveying the site and identifying all possible entry routes and nesting sites.

Grey squirrels can be a destructive and unwelcome guest if they find a way into your home and can cause significant damage to a property if left untreated.

Fleas can be a right pain in the ankles for any home or business around Reading, Shinfield, Newbury and around Berkshire that has pets, especially dogs and cats.
Owning a cat and a dog myself, I know the importance of staying on top of flea treatments to keep any chance of an infestation low, most of these treatments can be obtained from pets stores or your local vet; however, it is still possible for your pets to pick up fleas and they can easily spread throughout your home or business once inside.
