We are located in Malvern, Worcestershire, which is ideally suited to serve the surrounding three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire together with South Shropshire. Our pest control work involves carrying out treatments in domestic properties for pests such as wasps, rodents and other insects.
We also provide contract work with regular scheduled visits to commercial premises including factories, offices, retail outlets, catering, farms, fisheries, garden centres and schools including the largest college in Malvern.I am qualified to British Pest Control Association (BPCA)/RSPHII (Level 2) Certificate. I also am qualified in other areas such as safe use of Aluminium Phosphide and safe use of air weapons.
We are members of the NPTA (national pest technicians association) and BASIS PROMPT professional pest controllers register. I started working in pest control in 2005 when I became fully employed by a small family firm based in Pershore called PPC (Premier Pest Control).

Services
They hide during the day in crevices in furniture, bed frames, skirting boards etc., and at night they emerge to feed.
Unfortunately, what they feed on is human blood and will also attack pet animals.
Little black dots on wallpaper and bedding (bed bug excrement) and cast skins which look like empty bed bugs.
Bed bugs are becoming increasingly common and are easily transferred from house to house in furniture, bedding or luggage.
We will inspect the house to locate the source of infestation - usually bedrooms and particularly if children or pets sleep in them.

In today's modern warm houses with a supply of food, mice can breed all the year around.
Each mouse needs 3 grams (about an eighth of an ounce) of food per day and provided there is moisture in the food, they can survive without liquid to drink.
Grains and cereals are the preferred food, but they also eat fruit and vegetables and have also been known to eat soap and candles.
Glass jars, heavy duty plastic containers are best used when storing food, where there is a mouse infestation.
Usually 1-2 hours on the first visit, this is when the initial mouse poison is laid.

The adult cluster fly is about 6mm long with distinctive golden hairs on the thorax (chest area).
They over-winter indoors and adults feed on nectar.
They lay eggs in damp soil and rotting leaves and in the autumn the flies look for shelter and hibernate over winter - usually in big buildings, lofts, and sometimes invading the living area of a house.
They tend to invade in very large numbers, sometimes in many thousands and the bad news is they can return to the same property year after year.
A fly spray will help, but it will not penetrate into cracks where flies are hibernating.
