Report
The common bed-bug is found in human habitations and can be particularly problematic in buildings like hotels and hostels where there is quick resident turnover.
They feed on the blood of humans, emerging at night from cracks in furniture joints, bed frames, and skirting boards to bite humans which is its principal host, though it will feed on other warm blooded animals.
The common Bedbug is 5mm long and looks like a small flat red-brown disc they cannot fly but crawl or can be passively transported in clothing, luggage, furniture, and books.
Rabbits
Report
Rabbits were introduced to Britain in the 12th century by man and are now widespread throughout Britain in areas that provide suitable vegetation for grazing and well drained ground for burrowing, they live communally with other rabbits in a system of burrows known as a warren.
They are common in parks and golf courses railway embankments and in gardens were they burrow under sheds and trees.
They cause damage resulting from both digging and feeding activities.
Rabbit burrowing can undermine embankments and structures resulting in collapses.
Wasp Control
Report
They are social insects forming colonies inside nests which are constructed of chewed bark and timber mixed with saliva.
The nests can be found in Roof spaces, Soil banks, cavities in walls and trees.
The queen emerges from hibernation around April and searches for a suitable nesting site and starts making the nest.
The nest starts off smaller than the size of a golf ball but by late summer will be size of a football or larger with up to 3,000 to 5,000 individuals.
The first brood of the queen are sterile females whose job is to enlarge the nest and provide food for the next batch the queen lays.
Mice
Report
Mice: when living in close proximity to man can cause considerable problems.
Many people are afraid of mice and with their capacity to cause damage & carry disease they have good reason.
Mice breed extremely quickly, what starts off as a small infestation can quickly spread throughout the premises, causing damage and posing a fire risk from potential damage to wiring by their constant gnawing.
The mouse has said to have originated from the Steppes of Central Asia and has been reported as early as the 9th century but has not been proven.
